JAKARTA - Starting today, Apple Music will be integrated with Waze, so users can enjoy the journey by accessing music directly from the Waze Audio Player.

"We're excited to join forces with Apple Music to bring songs to Apple Music subscribers while driving with Waze on iPhone," Waze said on its official blog.

With this integration, it's easy for users to pause, play, and switch between songs on the go without having to open the Apple Music app.

To take advantage of the integration, users need to open the Waze app, tap the music note icon to select Apple Music as their audio app, then start listening to content directly in Waze.

"Enjoy over 90 million songs, tens of thousands of selected playlists, Apple Music Radio and more as you navigate," explains Waze.

It's been more than a year since Waze launched Audio Player to securely deliver music, podcasts, audiobooks, news and more while guiding drivers to their destination.

Since the launch of Audio Player, Waze has introduced integrations with several audio partners, including Audible, Deezer, NPR, iHeartRadio, Pandora, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. Waze's integration with Apple Music comes a few years after launching its integration with Spotify.

Meanwhile, in recent months Apple has also integrated its music streaming service with several services and products. Recently, Apple Music became available on the PlayStation 5.
