JAKARTA - Ubisoft has closed its online service for 91 games. Many of these titles are obsolete, or there are only versions for older and sometimes dead platforms. For example, maybe you will no longer be playing Assassin's Creed using the long-dead OnLive service.

In a Ubisoft report quoted by VOI on Wednesday, April 27, it said that offline features for each game will still be available and prizes that have been received can still be unlocked.

"However, you will not be able to receive it in-game. If your game is not transferred when we move from Uplay to Ubisoft Connect in 2020, all rewards will be automatically unlocked. Content that cannot be unlocked," Ubisoft wrote in a statement.

The first two Far Cry games have lost online support for PC. Blood Dragon also won't connect on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Most Ubisoft game titles have lost online support for outdated platforms like PS3, Xbox 360, OnLive, Wii, Wii U and PC.

Other classics you might miss include Beyond Good & Evil, the original Ghost Recon, some Rainbow Six games, older Settlers titles and certain Splinter Cell releases (including Chaos Theory and Conviction).

Games using Ubisoft Connect will not allow you to acquire Units, and you cannot open content on any platform or access it on a PC.

Ubisoft is in no rush to leave some players in the dark it is only now turning off Rainbow Six Lockdown support for PS2, GameCube and original Xbox owners. If you want to see a complete list of what games are and where they will be disabled, you can go directly to Ubisoft's official website.
