JAKARTA - Blizzard announced that Diablo Immortal will soon launch simultaneously on iOS, Android and in Open Beta on PC complete with crossplay and cross-progress on June 2.

"We've gone the extra mile to preserve key elements of Diablo's iconic control scheme so you can slay monsters in the comfort of your own home seat," Blizzard wrote on its blog.

The developers revealed why developing Diablo Immortal for PC was a decision by a team that felt they wanted to make sure the game reached as many players as possible, especially their dedicated PC fans.

"Ultimately, the deciding factor is that we know many of you will try to play the game via emulators, leading us to build a better experience. So wait a minute and listen as we learn more about the PC version of Diablo Immortal."

People in some Asia-Pacific regions will need to wait a few more weeks. This is a free game title with some optional in-game purchases. The PC version will initially launch in open beta, but all in-game content and features will remain available.

It will feature cross-play and cross-save support for all platforms, so you should be able to switch between your PC and your mobile device easily. The MMORPG allows players to take on challenges with groups of eight and has a faction-based PvP system.

Additionally, the developer includes controller support for the same PC as the mobile version. "The detection will be a seamless experience and many of the controls can also be remapped to your liking," he said.
