iOS users who download the Core app when it launches this summer will have access to the full Core user experience, although the availability of certain experiences will depend on the creators themselves.
Citing Gamespot, Manticore has announced that an iOS-focused build suite with design and optimization tools will be available to content creators starting today.
While the full user experience is coming to iOS this summer, content creators still need to make their vision a reality using the PC platform. GameSpot was invited to a private demo celebrating Core's first anniversary earlier this week. Manticore Games CEO Frederic Descamps clarified that players will only be able to play the game via iOS, there will be no build sequences in the app at launch.
The shift to iOS isn't the only new addition to Core coming to celebrate the first anniversary, as Manticore has also announced a new Party Portal mechanic launching today.
This Party Portal will allow players to open themed portals right where they are standing. You can also invite players to join them in Texas Hold 'Em games, Game Show Trivia, and more.
