JAKARTA - Some time ago CD Projekt RED confirmed that they were working on the development of their newest project. On Thursday, April 14, CD Projekt finally gave us more information about the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.
The developer revealed that the upcoming expansion for this sci-fi game will take place sometime in 2023. You will also get more information regarding the game later this year.
“As mentioned in CD Projekt RED's finance call a little while ago, the upcoming expansion Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive in 2023,” the developer wrote.

The company doesn't have much to say about the new content, but CD Projekt's Quest Director Pawel Sasko says your wait will ensure the expansion gets made right.
Sasko also said that the development team is actively working on the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion. Even after the recent release of update 1.5 for the game the developer will still be bringing improvements based on feedback from players.
This RPG has a strong selling point, as evidenced by CDPR which has sold 18 million copies this month. The expansion could help maintain that momentum and bring closer sales to The Witcher game, which has so far netted 65 million sales.
