JAKARTA - Max Payne creator, Remedy Entertainment announced on Wednesday, April 6 that they will be working with Rockstar Games to remake the video games Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.
According to a press release, the relationship between Remedy and Rockstar Games dates back to the original release of the games Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne developed by Remedy and published by Rockstar Games.

Both games left an indelible mark on popular culture, praised for their neo-noir atmosphere, groundbreaking storytelling, and "bullet-time" shooters.
"We were thrilled when our old friends at Remedy approached us about a remake of the original Max Payne game," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.
Houser also added that they are huge fans of the work the Remedy team has created over the years. "We can't wait to play this new version."
Remedy CEO Tero Virtala said that Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of everyone at Remedy, and also in the hearts of his millions of fans around the world.
