JAKARTA - Slack released an update for the Slack iPad app on Wednesday, March 16. Updates are made because many workers need reliable, flexible and fully functional tools to do their best work.

The new iPad app will feature a redesigned two-column layout, to better reflect the layout of the desktop version.
When you select a Slack channel or direct message from the left bar, you'll see the content appear in the right pane. This new layout makes it easier for you to stay productive.
Sidebar Upgrade
Slack improves performance on the left sidebar of the iPad app to help you keep all your channels organized and easy to navigate.
