JAKARTA - Tequila Works announced that today it welcomes Tencent as the majority shareholder of the Madrid-based game development studio.
Tequila Works was founded in 2009 by Raúl Rubio, and is known for popular titles such as Deadlight and Rime.
“For 12 years, the team at Tequila Works have passionately created high-quality titles that exude our personal sensibilities,” says Tequila Works CEO Raúl Rubio in a release. "But there is a limit to how much you can grow on your own".
