Preparing To Face Dinosaurs, Exoprimal Ready To Come In 2023

JAKARTA - Capcom has just announced Exoprimal, a game where five players in futuristic Exosuits face off against a herd of dinosaurs. The game was revealed during Sony's State of Play presentation on March 9. The game will be released in 2023.

"Introducing @Exoprimal, a new cooperative action game with a competitive edge! Two teams of five players in a dinosaur horde fighting in powerful armor, but only one team will survive," Capcom wrote on Twitter.

Exosuits are the last line of defense against the ravenous reptiles that litter the modern world, and they have to make smart choices about what clothes to bring in certain situations.

Based on the released trailer, the time setting of this game is in the year 2043. We will see a portal open and send a pack of beasts from the past.

According to a PlayStation blog post, the game is focused on co-op multiplayer. “Always outnumbered by their adversaries, Exofighter teams need to coordinate and choose strategic suit combinations to overcome the odds,” Capcom's Kellen Haney said on the blog.

Here's how the main mode works, according to the press release:

Each Exosuit has a specific role in combat. Deadeye can keep his distance while releasing a rain of destructive power with a powerful assault weapon. Zephyr fought back at close range, carving his way through hordes of smaller dinosaurs.

Whereas Roadblocks like Tanks have massive shields to hold off swarms of foes, Witchdoctor ensures allies stay healthy and ready to reengage.

Thanks to the efforts of Aibius Corporation, Exosuits can be swapped in mid-battle, allowing your team to change tactics at a moment's notice without having to leave the fight.

In the main game mode of Dino Survival, teams fight for every breath against countless dinosaurs while racing to complete missions before the opposing squad in 5v5 matches.

However, it will not be a PlayStation exclusive game, in their press release they stated that Exoprimal will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and on PC via Steam when it launches in 2023.
