JAKARTA - Legendary game developer Mediatonic has teamed up with PlayStation to release Astro bot as a playable character in the game Fall Guys. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a battle royale released in 2020.
Astro bot will be wearing a T-Rex costume in the game, Astro bot character creation looks a bit cooler as players struggle to survive various obstacles in the game.
Mediatonic mentions that Fall Guys costume creation is more than just a transformation. "We think of the Fall Guys costumes like real outfits made for your round pea body. It's like a fashion designer's dream!" Mediatonic Community Manager, Bee Sarafan wrote in his statement.

To create the Astro bot costume in the game, the developers explored every angle, shape, color, and paid special attention to the finer details to match the proportions.
"To get to that stage, we went through a lot of literacy. It all started with the art team's sketches," he continued.

From the design sketches and drawings, the team went to the rendering stage, where many changes were made to the initial concept, from practicality to the fact that some designs didn't work well in 3D. Mediatonic admitted that they spent a lot of time polishing and perfecting, before moving on to the poly sculpting stage.
"This is where we create the 3D shell, then add texture, and finally put our digital sculpting knife to admire our finished masterpiece," says Sarafan.
