Since then, competitors such as Apple Music have also rolled out the same feature, as have Tidal, Deezer and French HD streaming service Qobuz, which arrived in the US in 2019.

On the one hand, Spotify has not said how much the HiFi feature will cost when this service will be launched more widely later, but seeing many competitors, it will force Spotify to provide access to this feature for free at no additional cost.

To bring Spotify HiFi, the company has confirmed that the service will only work with Spotify Connect-enabled speakers.
