Instagram Invites Users To Reminisce With The Playback Feature

JAKARTA - Instagram has just introduced the Playback feature to its social media. This is because year-in-review is back in trend this year.

The Playback feature allows users to relive Stories during 2021. Later, Instagram will automatically share Playback 10 Stories curated from each user's moments.

However, the social media gives users the ability with anyone to edit, add, or remove Stories from the Playback list through their Stories archive, which will appear in Playback.

According to the report, the Playback feature will also automatically appear when it becomes available, with users seeing a message on their Instagram feed inviting them to create a Playback, and if they see a 2021 story they want to add, the user can click the “2021” sticker to view it. and share in their Playback.

Reporting from The Verge, Friday, December 10, Playback will be available as a limited feature this week, and in the next few weeks all Instagram users will be able to try it.

Although the Playback feature is claimed to be popular, where the average Instagram user is interested in re-showing their favorite Stories, Instagram hasn't brought a simpler and more popular year-end feature such as the "top nine" photo grid.

However, users need not grieve because they can still use third-party apps that offer variations of the top nine year-end photo grids, but have to sacrifice personal information such as e-mail addresses and Instagram login info.

Most apps and platforms still fail to replicate the popularity of the year-end Spotify Wrapped feature, which lets users view and share their top songs, artists, and genres.
