Persipura Wants To Steal Victory From Persib, Jackson F. Thiago: Focus On Rising And Returning To The Top

JAKARTA - Jacksen F. Tiago said that Persipura Jayapura's target in the match against Persib Bandung in the 10th week of Liga 1, Saturday tomorrow is trying to steal the victory.

"We have directed a special focus to Persib Bandung. We are motivated to beat them. Our motivation is to win, get up and return to the zone we should be in", said Jacksen at a virtual press conference session, Friday, as reported by Antara.

According to Jacksen, Persipura is in an unfavorable condition because they continue to get minor results in Liga 1 and are at the bottom of the standings.

The Brazilian coach explained that all parts of the team had the motivation to bring Persipura back to the top.

"The Persipura team is the top team. That is our motivation for tomorrow's match. Looking for a revival that we have been waiting for for a long time", said Jackson.

Furthermore, Jacksen said that one of their foreign players, Hedipo Gustavo was already on the team and had undergone quarantine and training sessions with Persipura.

Even so, Hedipo Gustavo still cannot be demoted because several administrative and legal aspects must be resolved and it is not certain when he will make his debut with Persipura.

Persipura will face Persib in the 10th week of Liga 1 at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday at 18:15 WIB.

Persipura is trying to find a win after in the previous five matches not being able to get full points by recording only one draw and four defeats.
