JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coach Robert Alberts assesses Persipura Jayapura remains a strong team even though they are currently at the bottom of the League 1 standings.

"I think Persipura remains a team to be reckoned with in the league. Because they have good management, then a good coach and players in their position have talent," said Robert in a virtual press conference session ahead of the match against Persipura, Friday, quoted by Antara.

Robert added that until now Persipura is a role model team because it has Papuan players whose talents are like Brazilian players.

The Dutch coach continued to say, Persipura's players have good posture and have a very supportive speed on the field.

"Besides having good posture, they are also born with the speed and unique talent that the Persipura team has," explained Robert.

Robert explained that until now there were several players who could not perform, such as midfielder Marc Klok who was affected by accumulation, Supardi Nasir, Puja Abdillah who was still injured, and I Made Wirawan who was recovering after undergoing surgery.
