JAKARTA - Pedri Gonzalez has signed a new contract at Barcelona, and the 18-year-old has agreed to stay until the summer of 2026.
Barcelona inserts a release clause that is not kidding if a club is interested in signing him, which is 1 billion euros (around IDR 16 trillion).
The Catalan club announced Pedri's new contract on their official website on Thursday.
"FC Barcelona and the player, Pedro Gonzalez 'Pedri', have agreed on a contract extension until 30 June 2026. The release clause is set at 1 billion euros," Barca wrote.

Barcelona brought Pedri from Las Palmas in the summer of 2020, for only 5 million euros.
Pedri then became a regular for Barcelona and made 52 appearances during his first season at his new club.
