Like A Hollywood Movie Scene, UFC Star Kevin Holland Paralyzes A Car Thief With A Lock

JAKARTA - Like a scene in a Hollywood movie, UFC star Kevin Holland made the news this week after knocking out a car thief.

Holland was at a gas station when he heard a commotion and people screaming that their car had been stolen.

Without hesitation, Holland chased the thief, stopped him and detained them until the police arrived on the scene.

"I stopped and took my coffee cup. I gave a small sweep with the cup. Then I overlapped him, my knees positioned on my stomach, and locked it with Khabib's signature scarf," said Holland, launching MMA Fighting, Friday, October 8.

Meanwhile in an interview with MMA Junkie, Holland's coach, Shug Dorsey, said that he had just woken up when he received a call from Holland saying the incident happened near his home.

Dorsey then jumped out of bed and headed for the scene, to record what was going on. The video taken by Dorsey then went viral on social media after he uploaded it on his Instagram Story.

Holland's action was only a few hours after he fought Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night 193, 2 October. The duel ended with No Contest (NC).
