JAKARTA - Satisfied with his success on the European stage, Zinedine Zidane won his second La Liga title last night, Thursday, July 16.

Some might consider this to be the title Zidane is most happy about. But not for his fellow professionals - who really know how to appreciate the difficulties of having such a long season.

Let's dig deeper: Zizou won this league title without Cristiano Ronaldo, the biggest match winner the club has ever had. The French man won because he was barely reinforced by his star player, Eden Hazard, who only played after suffering frequent injuries.

The bald-headed coach won it without the goal scorer he hoped at the start of the season, Luka Jovic, a player who cares more about parties than sports.

The Algerian racers won without Marco Asensio, who barely managed to play for a season. Thanks to the pandemic that suspended competition, Asensio has plenty of time to recover.

He won it with just one defensive midfielder in his squad. He won it with old-faced defenders, who were already rusty and old-fashioned.
