JAKARTA - Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk says he is more worried about his son's first days at school than getting into the ring against world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in London this Saturday.

Joshua will stake his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO title belts in the fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Both won gold medals at the 2012 London Olympics. Joshua was super heavyweight champion, while Usyk was heavyweight champion.

"Right now I'm not thinking about Anthony Joshua," The Sun newspaper quoted Usyk as saying. "I don't think about what he's going to do, what he's going to use or how he's going to box."

"Right now I'm more concerned about how my son will feel at school because he's just started first grade and he really doesn't want to go to school."

Usyk (34) is unbeaten in professional boxing and becomes a true cruising world champion. The WBO mandatory opponent flies to London on Monday.

To Sky Sports television which broadcast this fight, Joshua (31) admitted that he did not consider Usyk a boxer who fought above his chosen heavyweight.

"All boxers can gain weight. Some feel better in a higher class, they are getting tougher and fresher," said the British boxer who has a professional record of 24 wins and one defeat.

"In my mind, I've dispelled the notion he's a cruising fighter."

Joshua fights Usyk after plans to unify his title against WBC champion Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia were scrapped due to the decision that Fury's rematch with Deontay Wilder should come first.

Fury will face Wilder in Las Vegas on October 9.
