Assuming Arsenal Are Too Far Away From Becoming A Potential League Champion, Conte Just Wants To Train Man United

JAKARTA - After leaving Inter Milan earlier this year, Antonio Conte is said to be the coach of Arsenal or Manchester United.

Conte led the Nerazzurri to win Serie A at the end of last season but had to leave the San Siro due to clashes with the Inter board.

He was a potential successor to Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur, but the 52-year-old is currently hunting for a club with the potential to win the league.

Now he is being touted as a potential replacement for Mikel Arteta at Arsenal and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.

The two coaches have been in the spotlight recently. Arteta was highlighted because Arsenal staggered at the start of this season, while Solksjaer was defeated by Young Boys because of the Red Devils in the Champions League.

But according to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Conte only wants to fill the Red Devils' chair because Arsenal is considered too far away to be called a candidate for league champions.

On the other hand, United have the potential to win the league especially after successfully signing Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

However, after being defeated by Young Boys, there were calls among talkSPORT football observer Jason Cundy for Solskjaer to be sacked.

"It (the game against Young Boys) shows he (Solksjaer) really doesn't know anything," Cundy said as quoted by the Daily Mail page. "A performance like that, with a team like that... yes they lost one player, but come on."

"They had five defenders at the back and he didn't change things. They were dominated in the middle of the pitch.

"United did get what they deserved and he (Solskjaer) was openly exposed."

“Young Boys are usually little boys in European football and United were ousted 1-2… it was a big disaster, a real disaster.”

He added: "I would definitely fire him. We know what will happen right? You have Antonio Conte out there."
