Condemns Jerome Boateng’s Actions, Kevin-Prince: I Hate Violence Against Women

JAKARTA - Jerome Boateng was found guilty of committing violence that injured his ex-girlfriend's body.

For this decision, Boateng was sentenced to pay a fine of 1.8 million euros (approximately Rp25.67 billion).

While attending court last week, Boateng was found guilty of violence against his ex-girlfriend while on vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2018.

It ended a harrowing 2021 for the Lyon centre-back as his other ex-girlfriend, 25-year-old model Kasia Lenhardt, was found dead in a flat in February, one week after they split.

Lenhardt's death is thought to have been a suicide.

Instead of getting support from his family, Jerome came under fire from his brother Kevin-Prince Boateng.

"I've distanced myself from Jerome (Boateng) for a long time," Kevin-Prince Boateng told Bild.

"I respect and obey German law. I hate violence against women."

"I do not identify with my brother's actions and therefore I have nothing to do with him anymore."

A source close to the brother of the two brothers also revealed that the two brothers stopped talking a few months ago.

"Kevin (Prince Boateng) cut ties with Jerome (Boateng) a few months ago, but the situation has remained quiet until now," the source told Bild.

"Jerome has always been seen as a nice and sweet brother, while Kevin has always been seen as a bad boy. However, it's quite the opposite."
