JAKARTA - New Juventus striker Moise Kean has confirmed that he is returning to the Italian national team with a new mentality and purpose after getting the opportunity to play for Gli Azzuri.

Quoted by Antara from Football Italia, Thursday, Moise Kean returned to play with the Italian national team in the 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Lithuania on Wednesday, September 8 evening local time.

The Ghanaian striker explained that he could return to the Italian national team after doing hard work and professionalism to make it happen and the warm welcome from his teammates.

"It's all about hard work, how professional I take. My team-mates give me a warm welcome, I work hard every day and come back with a new goal, a new mentality, and I'm always ready to help my team-mates," said Kean.

The 21-year-old continued to tell how difficult it was to watch the Italian national team compete at the Euros but Kean admitted that he always supported his team-mates at Gli Azzuri.

He said the most important thing was that the Italian national team managed to come out as champions of Euro 2020 and return to Rome bringing the prestigious trophy between the countries in Europe.

"It's not easy to watch the Euros at home, but I always support my teammates in front of the television. They brought the trophy home for Italy and that's what's important," explained Kean.
