Targeted By Dortmund, Diogo Dalot Is Determined To Fight For His Place At Old Trafford

JAKARTA - German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund is reportedly in communication with Manchester United to bring in wing-back Diogo Dalot.

Quoted by Antara from Sky Sports, it is believed that Borussia Dortmund will try to complete this move before the deadline for the transfer market closes on August 31 tomorrow.

Dortmund will make a loan offer to Manchester United with an option to buy at the end of the season.

It is known that Diogo Dalot's fans are not only Borussia Dortmund, it is reported that AC Milan and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the Portuguese full-back.

Previously, Diogo Dalot had experienced a season on loan at AC Milan and his performance was promising and made him recalled by MU at the beginning of this season.

Despite the emergence of many clubs interested in Dalot, MU is not expected to let the 22-year-old player off at the start of this season.

This is because United have released two of their defenders, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe, to be loaned to other clubs.

Manchester United considers Dalot the only substitute option for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

But Goal reports Dalot is now determined to fight for his place at Old Trafford. He is ready to compete with Wan-Bissaka in the right position behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
