Arsenal Will Lego Willian, Torreira And Knetiah

JAKARTA - English Premier League club Arsenal is reportedly preparing to release three of its players in the transfer market this summer.

Quoted Antara from Sky Sports, Tuesday, August 24, the three players are Willian, Lucas Torreira, and Eddie Nketiah.

Willian is reportedly being approached by Brazilian club Corinthians who are hoping to get the player's services on a free transfer.

Arsenal does not mind losing Willian because it can reduce their spending on player salaries.

So far, Willian has not been able to make a real impact on Arsenal's game and it is planned that a deal with Corinthians can be completed before the close of the transfer window.

Furthermore, midfielder Lucas Torreira is also reportedly getting closer to joining Fiorentina on loan which has a purchase option of around £13 million or IDR 257 billion.

Besides Fiorentina, actually, Eintracht Frankfurt also wants the services of Torreira but the player prefers to have a career in Italy.

The Uruguayan before joining Arsenal in July 2018 had played for Sampdoria and made 63 appearances for the Serie A club.

Last season, Lucas Torreira spent a loan spell at Atletico Madrid and is currently not in Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta's plans.

In addition to Willian and Torreira, young striker Eddie Nketiah is also rumored to be leaving Arsenal along with interest from Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace is reportedly ready to sign Nketiah permanently this summer.

Nketiah is currently entering the final year of his contract at Arsenal and there has been no talk of a contract extension.

Crystal Palace is currently trying to negotiate for Nketiah with Arsenal wanting at least £20 million.
