Terror 'Osama Bin Laden' Shame Leeds United

JAKARTA - While clubs have considered including digital versions or cardboard displays of spectators in their stadiums since the league restarted, Leeds United have been embarrassed by the posting of a picture of Osama Bin Laden on Elland Road.

Long rumored to be an Arsenal fan when he was alive, the image of Bin Laden sits among the artificial crowd in the Leeds United stalls ahead of Saturday's clash with Fulham.

The image was first discovered by supporters whose picture decorated the chair next to Bin Laden's. He explained his frustration on social media.

"Thank you Leeds United. I am next to Bin Laden," he tweeted.

Today, Bin Laden's picture is no longer on Elland Road. The club also promised to review all other pictures on the stadium seats.

Yes, Leeds gave fans permission to upload their own pictures for around 28 euros.

"There are controls to ensure there is no offensive image," a club spokesman said Wednesday in the Daily Mirror.

Currently, Leed is in second place in the Championship League standings with 71 points from 38 matches. Marcelo Bielsa's men lost on goal difference from leaders West Brom who won the same points.

Leeds missed their chance to top the table when they lost 2-0 to Cradiff last Sunday.
