Give New Offers, Chelsea Have Not Given Up On Lukaku

JAKARTA - In the hunt for a striker, Chelsea still has not given up on being able to get Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan. The Blues are reportedly preparing two new offers for the Belgian striker to Inter Milan.

The first offer from Chelsea was 105 million euros (around Rp1.78 trillion) plus defender Davide Zappacosta. The second offer is 115 million euros (about Rp1.95 trillion).

These two offers are arguably not sufficient for Inter's desired price of 130 million euros (around Rp. 2.2 trillion).

It is estimated that this first offer from Chelsea will be rejected by Inter and the pressure on the club president, Steven Zhang, has made them want a higher price.

Previously, Chelsea's offer of 100 million euros (around Rp. 1.6 trillion) plus Marcos Alonso was rejected by Inter who wanted more money.

This Chelsea effort comes after the Blues currently need a sharp striker who is hungry for goals that is in Romelu Lukaku.

Romelu Lukaku has an important role at Inter Milan after successfully leading the Nerazzuri to the Scudetto title after almost 11 years.

Lukaku has made 36 appearances in Serie A and has contributed 24 goals and 10 assists for Inter.
