DPR Member Tina Nur Alam Hands Over IDR 100 Million Prize For Apriyani

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Hj Tina Nur Alam handed over a cash prize of IDR 100 million for Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalist Apriyani Rahayu, which her father Amiruddin received at his residence in Lawulo Village, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Tuesday.

"This is a prize of IDR 100 million as an appreciation for the achievements of Apriyani Rahayu's sister in winning the first women's doubles gold medal at the Olympics. Greetings from Pak Nur Alam", said Hj. Tina Nur Alam reported by Antara.

Suddenly the cash gift received by Apriyani Rahayu's father was greeted with gratitude by the family and relatives who witnessed the happy moment.

Apriyani Rahayu's father, Amiruddin, was in a happy mood when he received the gift that was handed over by the Nasdem legislator of the DPR RI.

"Thank you, thank God. Greetings to Mr. Nur Alam. Hopefully, Mr. Nur Alam is always healthy, and always in the protection of Allah SWT", said Amiruddin in a stuttering voice.

Former Governor of Southeast Sulawesi for two terms (2008 - 2018) Nur Alam through Whatsapp messages invites the younger generation to make the Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu couple as a motivator in honing sports talent.

"The achievement of winning the gold medal, which was donated by Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu for the Indonesian nation, was not a gift from the Chinese women's doubles pair, but as we witnessed through unknown struggles in the field", said Nur Alam, chairman of the Southeast Sulawesi Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) two periods ago.
