Saul Niguez Reveals His 'new Club'

JAKARTA - Saul Niguez has made big headlines about his 'new club', which is the youth team's academy in his hometown of Alicante.

Rumors surrounding the Atletico Madrid midfielder's move earlier this week blew hard when he posted a secret message on social media that read "New club: I will announce it in three days".

Manchester United have long been linked with a move for the Spanish midfielder, while Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also among the applicants.

However, with his six-year contract remaining at Atletico and his € 150million release clause, it looks like the news of Saul's move looks a little unlikely.

And so it proved, the 25-year-old then announced the formation of the Costa City Club with his brother Aaron.

The structure of the Costa City project, which is sponsored by Nike, is a team of boys and girls between the ages of four and 18.

Meanwhile, Atletico will return to action in La Liga following the suspension of top-flight football in Spain due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Los Colchoneros will travel to Athletic Bilbao on June 14.
