Veda Ega Pratama Ready to Rock the Mugello Circuit

JAKARTA - Indonesian young racer, Veda Ega Pratama, has a very positive feeling and capital so that he is ready to hit the stage of the 2026 Italian Moto3 Grand Prix which will take place this weekend.

The race at the Mugello Circuit, Florence, Italy, was held on Friday, May 29, 2026, until Sunday, May 31, 2026. Veda Ega is also ready to add points and hunt for his second podium in the seventh race of the 2026 competition season.

"I arrived at Mugello with a very positive feeling after the last few races. My confidence in the bike has increased greatly and the communication with the team has also become stronger at every race," Veda said in an official statement received.

The racer from Gunungkidul made an impressive appearance in the previous race in Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. At that time he started the race from the 20th position, but managed to record himself as the eighth racer who crossed the finish line.

This is the second time this season he started the race from the back and managed to finish in the top 10. Previously when appearing in Jerez, he started from 17th place, but was able to finish the race in sixth place.

Veda said that in addition to the satisfactory results from the previous series, he also really likes the Mugello Circuit because it has a straight and long track and fast corners that make this track very special for Moto3.

"Our goal this weekend is to continue to work in the same direction, improving since the first day, and trying to be competitive throughout the weekend. We are building a good momentum and I want to continue to learn and fight for strong results," he said.

Veda who came as a rookie in Moto3 this year has overall made an impressive appearance. He is currently in fifth place in the rider standings with a collection of 58 points or 82 points behind Maximo Quiles in the top spot.

The 17-year-old racer managed to get points in five of the six series that had taken place previously. The only race that made him fail to get points was the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

He started the season in Thailand with a fifth place finish, then managed to climb to the third podium in Brazil, failed to finish in the United States due to a fall, finished sixth in Jerez, fourth in France, and finally finished eighth in Barcelona.
