Jay Idzes Dkk Conquered Verona, Sassuolo Climbed the Ladder

JAKARTA - Defender Jay Idzes helped Sassuolo keep a clean sheet when they defeated Hellas Verona 3-0 in an Italian Serie A match at the Mapei-Citta del Tricolore Stadium, Saturday, February 21, 2026 WIB. The victory made Sassuolo rise in the standings.

Sassuolo maintained their position on the winning track in the Italian League. After suffering a crushing 5-0 defeat when hosting a tough opponent and leader of the standings Inter Milan, they immediately bounced back by defeating Udinese 2-1.

The winning streak continued when Sassuolo returned to play at home. This time, Fabio Grosso's team showed the best performance to roll over Verona who are at the bottom of the standings.
