Stopped in the Asian Champions League 2, Persib Still Broke the Record of the Brilliant

JAKARTA - Indonesia's representative in the AFC Champions League Two (Asian Champions League), Persib Bandung, crashed out after facing Ratchaburi FC. However, Maung Bandung still recorded an amazing record.

The Persib Bandung vs Ratchaburi FC meeting was the 16th round of the Asian Champions League 2. In the match at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Maung Bandung won 1-0.

However, the result was apparently not enough to send Persib to a safe place. The reason is, the team coached by Bojan Hodak lost 1-3 on aggregate to Ratchaburi who won 3-0 in Thailand.

Even though Maung Bandung's steps have stopped on the Asian stage, Bojan Hodak's students have an impressive record this season.

Persib has never lost a home game this season and has almost swept all the matches in front of Bobotoh with victory.

The Blue Prince squad has hosted 14 opponents in the 2025/2026 season with details of 10 Super League matches and four Champions League 2 matches.

In local competitions, Persib always wins and scores 16 goals and only concedes one goal. The only goal against Persib in the home match was scored by Borneo FC player Joel Vinicius.

Meanwhile, in the Asian Champions League 2, Persib won three times and drew once with a statistics of five goals and one goal conceded. The only club that held the draw and scored one goal against Teja Paku Alam on the Asian stage was Lion City Sailors.

In the other three matches, Persib was even able to defeat Selangor, Bangkok United, and Ratchaburi. Persib's stunning record at home will still undergo a test until the end of the 2025/2026 Super League season.

The next club that will test Persib's ability in the home match is Persita Tangerang. The Cisadane Swordsman, who defeated Persib in the first round of the league, will visit the GBLA Stadium on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
