Ivar Jenner Officially Graded in the Country, Wearing the Dewa United Uniform

JAKARTA - Indonesian National Team (Timnas) midfielder, Ivar Jenner, officially continued his football career in the country. Ivar now wears the uniform of the Tangerang-based club, Dewa United.

The 22-year-old was officially recruited from the Dutch League club, FC Utrecht, on Friday, February 6, 2026. At his new club, Ivar can sign up until the end of the season and his football journey in the Netherlands is an important foundation in the development of his career.

"I assess that the experience of playing football in the Netherlands went well. I spent two years playing in the Ajax youth team before moving to FC Utrecht when I was 12 years old," said Ivar as quoted from an official statement.

During his time at FC Utrecht, Ivar Jenner played with the first team and recorded many minutes playing in the Dutch second division (Eerste Divisie) with the club's second team.

"That experience gave me important flying hours," he said.

Regarding his move to Indonesia, Ivar admitted that he was excited to start a new challenge with Dewa United.

"Now I am taking a new step for my career by joining Dewa United and I am very happy with this decision," he said.

Apart from the club level, Ivar also revealed the journey with the Indonesian National Team which started from the young age group.

"My experience with the Indonesian National Team has also been positive. The journey began when I joined the Indonesian National Team U-20 in a training camp in Turkey," he said.

He then continued his career in the Indonesian U-23 National Team until he was trusted to strengthen the senior team under three different coaches.

Even though the Indonesian National Team has not managed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, Ivar expressed his confidence in the national team's potential.

"I believe the Indonesian National Team has good quality to compete in the Asian Cup as well as looking at the opportunity to the next World Cup. I am optimistic that the target can be achieved," he concluded.
