JAKARTA - Indonesian professional golfer, Holly Vitoria Halim, is preparing mentally to be able to compete in the Indonesia Women's Open (IWO) golf competition presented by BTN which will take place this weekend.

The prestigious women's golf tournament will be held from January 30 to February 1, 2026 at the Damai Indah Golf-Bumi Serpong Damai Course. There are 120 women golfers from across Asia Pacific competing.

Holly said that he took many lessons in the first edition which took place at the beginning of last year, especially the mentality so that he could give more satisfactory results.

"For me, having a stable mentality, that's the most important thing for me. So, I just want to do my best and trust the process for this event," he said in a press conference.

Holly will be one of Indonesia's hope golfers in the 2026 Indonesian Women's Open. Previously, in last year's edition, he was able to achieve success by finishing in T6 in the event.

The 20-year-old golfer said that playing at home again and getting support from the public automatically helped inject his mental state on the field.

"Yes, of course support is important, especially in Indonesia. In my opinion, the most important thing I want to focus on is myself and doing my best, doing the best I can for this year," he said.

IWO is a tournament organized by the Asian Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF). This year will enter a new level in the history of professional women's tournaments in the Asia Pacific (APAC).

The total prize for this tournament also increased to 600 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 10 billion or doubled from the first edition, which also took place at Damai Indah Golf.

Some other names that will be in the spotlight in the Indonesia Women's Open presented by BTN 2026 are Yuna Araki (Japan), Jihyo Jung (South Korea), Jaravee Boonchant (Thailand), Thalia Martin (England), and Natasha Oon (Malaysia).
