Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the final just before half-time, but it was Kante who stole the show.

The tireless Frenchman was rewarded with the Player of the Match award after the Blues lifted the European Cup for the second time in their history.

The 30-year-old was everywhere for 90 minutes and truly deserved a Champions League winner's medal.
