JAKARTA - Ajax Amsterdam has confirmed the loan signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's son, Maximillian, from AC Milan.
The transfer sees Maximillian follow in the footsteps of his father, who enjoyed a hugely successful three years in Amsterdam, winning two Eredivisie titles.
The Dutch club has the option to buy the 19-year-old striker at the end of the season. He will divide his time between the Ajax U-23 team and the senior team.
Maximillian joined AC Milan's academy in 2022 and has spent the last six months playing for the Rossoneri's second team, Milan Futuro, in Italy's Serie D.
"We are very happy with the arrival of Maximilian. He is a talented striker with good positioning ability in and around the penalty area."
"He also has goal-oriented finishing. He is skilled at dribbling. Most importantly, he has the mentality and attitude of a great winner," said Ajax Football Director Marijn Beuker.
