Seven Indonesian Representatives Reach 2025 SEA Games Swimming Final Today

Seven Indonesian swimmers from five numbers have reached the final round of the 2025 SEA Games (doc. PB Aquatic Indonesia).

JAKARTA A total of seven Indonesian swimmers are confirmed to reach the final round of the 2025 Thailand SEA Games after going through the qualifying round on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Swimming Pool, Sports Authority of Thailand, Bangkok.

Nine Indonesian swimmers competed in five swimming competitions, namely the men's 50 meters backstroke, the women's 50 meters backstroke, the men's 50 meters freestyle, the women's 200 meters freestyle, and the men's 100 meters breaststroke.

At the men's 50-meter backstroke, Jason Donovan Yusuf, who is still hungry for a gold medal, qualified for 25.88 seconds. He was followed by I Gede Siman Sudartawa who escaped with a time of 26.40 seconds.

Next in the women's 50-meter backstroke, the Indonesian swimming team also has high potential to win a gold medal after Flairene Candrea (29.53 seconds) and Masniari Wolf (29.20 seconds) entered the final round of the competition.

The next final ticket is obtained from the men's 50 meters freestyle race. Indonesian swimmer Samuel Maxson Septionus is the only Indonesian representative to qualify directly for the final round with a record swimming time of 23.18 seconds.

In this number, Jason Donovan Yusuf posted 23.54 seconds of swimming so that he filled the reserve position of the two swimmers competing in the men's 50 meters freestyle final if there were two swimmers who resigned or canceled their appearance.

In the women's 200 meters freestyle, Indonesia's hopes are in the Serenna Badminton Muslim. He kept his dream by recording a time of two minutes 07.36 seconds in the qualifying round to secure a ticket to the final round.

The Indonesian swimming team closed the harvest of their representatives who qualified for the final round on the second day through a ticket obtained by Muhammad Dwiky Raharjo. He competed in the men's 100 meters breaststroke, qualifying for one minute 03.53 seconds.

The seven Indonesian swimmers will compete in the final round of the second day of the swimming competition at the Thailand Sea Games 2025 this evening. The match will start at 18.00 Bangkok time, Thailand.
