JAKARTA National badminton legend Hendra Setiawan is one of six badminton stars who participated in organizing a cross-sport exhibition event (sports) titled wondr BrightUp Cup 2025.

The event organized by BNI attracted public attention because it combined music entertainment. This event was also lively at Hall A Basketball Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, December 5, 2025 evening WIB.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo emphasized that the event was a form of BNI's consistency in supporting sports development as well as presenting a fresher entertainment format.

"This event not only features the exhibition of the best Indonesian athletes, but is also a space for closer interaction between athletes and the community," said Okki.

Apart from Hendra, other badminton stars that enlivened this event were Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon, as well as two young Raymon Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin, men's doubles champion at the Australian Open 2025.

Another attraction from this event was the presence of basketball players Daniel Wenas and Kelly Purwanto as well as footballers Andritany Ardhiyasa and Witan Sulaeman. All the sports stars present different dynamics on one stage.

Support for the use of digital services is an integral part of the implementation through the presence of interactive booths and electronic payment system-based activities from BNI, which at the same time encourage digital transaction education for the public.

This series of events closed with music performances from Silicon Open Up and Juicy Luicy. The presence of these stars further strengthens the identity of the BrightUp Cup as an annual sportainment that combines athletic achievements and public entertainment.

Chairman of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) Fadil Imran assessed that this cross-sport collaboration had a positive impact on the popularity of national badminton.

"I am very happy to see this bright enough idea. The combination of sports and entertainment will make the badminton climate increasingly known to the public," said Fadil.

He further emphasized that sportainment like this is an important medium for the closeness of athletes and supporters.

"I saw earlier that there was a little happiness and joy. An atmosphere like this for athletes will disburse their relationship with fans," he concluded.
