JAKARTA - Real Madrid failed to overthrow Barcelona and lost their throne after a 1-1 draw against Girona in the Spanish LaLiga match at the Municipal De Montilivi Stadium, Monday, December 1, 2025 in the morning WIB.

Madrid had to work hard against Girona and finally only got one point. This is for the third time in a row Madrid have only been able to draw since the last time they won on November 2, 2025. At that time, Madrid beat Valencia 4-0 and previously beat Barcelona 2-1 in El Clasico.

Only after that important victory, Madrid fell. Had left Barca in points and led the standings alone, Madrid then experienced a decline. Xabi Alonso's troops were detained by mid-table teams, Rayo Vallecano, Elche and lastly Girona.

The result made Madrid stuck in second place with a pocket of 33. One point adrift of Barca who beat Deportivo Alaves 3-1.
