YOGYAKARTA - Indonesia won two titles after men's doubles Ali Faathir Rayhan/Devin Artha Wahyudi won the 2025 BNI Indonesia International Challenge. In the final which was held at GOR Amonggrogo, Sunday, November 23, 2025, they beat Malaysian doubles, Aaron Tai/Tan Zhi Yang, 21-15, 21-17.

Doubles Ali/Devin appeared with strong confidence. They can also control the tempo of the match and this is the key to conquering their opponents.

In addition, they developed a fast attack with accurate ball placements. Although the Malaysian doubles gave tight resistance, Adi/Devin were able to overcome it.

They closed the first game with a score of 21-15. Then in the second game, Adi/Devin refused to give up and gave it to the opponent.

They remained consistent until they locked the 21-17 victory. This victory is also proof of the maturity of the strategy and mentality of competing for the seventh seeded pair.

Devin said that the success of winning through two games could not be separated from the implementation of the strategy that was running as expected. In addition, the opponent seemed uncomfortable with their fast game pattern.

"We played according to plan and went smoothly. The opponent didn't seem comfortable with our pattern of play, as a result, they often die alone," said Devin.

"We learned from mistakes last week. We tried to be calmer because this is also the final. So the atmosphere is different," said Ali.

Previously, Indonesia had confirmed that it would win the title in the mixed doubles after Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti won over their own partner Renaldi Samosir/Masita Mahmudin in three games 21-8, 12-21, 21-12.

Even though they brought together two Indonesian couples, the match continued to be interesting. Moreover, the audience supports the two camps.

Bobby/Melati, who are the first seed, appeared confident in the first game. Their aggressive attacks made opponents unable to get out of the pressure, so they were with a landslide score of 21-8.
