Kumamoto Masters Japan 2025: Gregoria Pijaki Final Ketiga Beruntun

Gregoria Mariska Tunjung managed to advance to the final of the 2025 Kumamoto Masters Japan (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA - Gregoria Mariska Tunjung managed to advance to the final of the 2025 Japanese Kumamoto Masters after defeating Chiu Pin-chian (China Taipei) in the semifinals on Saturday, November 15, 2025, noon WIB.

Gregoria - the fourth seed - beat Chiu Pin-chian in 37 minutes two straight sets with a score of 21-16 and 21-14.

The victory brought him to the final of the Kumamoto Masters Japan three lucky editions. In the previous two editions, Gregoria also reached the top party.

In the first edition of 2023, Gregoria won. However, the score did not continue in 2024 when he lost in the final against the host's singles, Akane Yamaguchi.

Now, Gregoria is preparing to win her second title in Japan. He also admitted that the atmosphere in Kumamoto Predictural Gymnasium made him comfortable.

"It's not the first time I've played in Kumamoto. The crowd has always been like this, so it's not a big deal when you have to fight the host's representative."

Gregoria is still waiting for the opponent in the final between Nozomi Okuhara (Japan) vs Ratchanok Intanon (Thailand).
