Sanchez's fellow manager, Mike Borao, confirmed that the Cuban boxer was very excited to face Dubois for the opportunity to challenge Usyk.
"Of course Frank prefers to fight against former world champions like Daniel Dubois to prove himself an elite boxer," Borao told Sky Sports.
Dubois on the other hand, was linked with a fight against WBC interim champion, Agit Kabayel, but the German-based boxer has announced Damian Knyba as his next opponent.
Dubois manager Sam Jones revealed that his client wanted to immediately return to the world title race map after his defeat to Usyk in the July 2025 rematch, which cost him the IBF belt.
"We are open to any fight that could bring Daniel closer to the world title. That is Daniel's main goal."
