Marciano assessed that the 2025 Self-Defense PON was successful thanks to the solid synergy between the Central KONI and the Djarum Foundation, as well as the full support of the community and the Kudus Regency Government.
At this event, the results of the final standings of the 2025 Self-Defense PON were controlled by the DKI Jakarta Contingent who came out as the overall champion through a collection of 42 gold medals. West Java followed in second place, followed by East Java, Central Java, and East Kalimantan.
"The collaboration between the Central KONI and the Djarum Foundation provides additional space for our martial arts athletes to add to the competition agenda which is held every two years," said Marciano.
He explained that in 2027, the format of the Self-Defense PON will still be evaluated. There are two options, namely maintaining 10 sports such as this year or expanding to 18 martial arts branches.
