Hattrick Wins, Amoram Says Man Utd's Performance Is Better Against Arsenal

JAKARTA - Manchester United scored a victory hat trick against Brighton and Hove Albion 4-2 in the English Premier League match. Regarding the victory, manager Ruben Amorim said that Man Utd's performance against Arsenalk was even better despite losing 1-0.

Man Utd showed a positive trend. For the third time in a row, Man Utd scored a victory. They not only returned to the right track but also the team's position was boosted.

Previously, Man Utd was at the bottom, then remained in the middle and finally broke into the Champions League zone by ranking fourth after defeating Brighton in the match at Old Trafford Stadium, Saturday, October 25, 2025 evening WIB. That position did not change after Liverpool were forced to give up 3-2 by Brentford.

Amoritam said that the victory over Brighton was more meaningful than when they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. Because the victory is proof that Man Utd has stepped on the right track.

"Players really understand what to do in every game. We also always feel the suffering. But it's not United when they never feel the suffering. I feel that way," said Amorim who said the performance against Brighton was better than when facing Liverpool.

In my opinion, the team's performance is more complete than at Liverpool. You could say Liverpool didn't deserve to win that game. We deserved to win. But in this match we are ahead everything. In fact, I prefer this victory more than last week," he said.

However, Amorim actually stated that Man Utd's performance against Arsenal in the first match of the competition was the best. Only in the match which was held at Old Trafford, Man Utd lost 1-0.

"For me, our best match was against Arsenal. Our first match," he said again.

In the match against Brighton, Amoram mentioned the suffering of Man Utd because the team was already 3-0 up. But The Seagulls were able to catch up to 3-2.

However, MU was able to overcome the pressure so they got back on track. They not only defended the advantage but also added goals after Bryan Mbeumo scored his second goal which changed the score to 4-2.

Matheus Cunha Scores First Goal

Man Utd himself started the game well and Matheus Cunha scored the first goal since joining the team. Furthermore, Casemiro put Man Utd 2-0 up after his shot hit Brighton so he changed course and outwitted goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

In the second half, Mbeumo solidified the team's advantage to 3-0. Only, Brighton catch up through

Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas made the game tense for the remaining time. How not, Brighton need one more goal to equalize the score.

But Mbeumo finally gave relief before the game was over. He scored a brace in the 90+6 minute. The score changed 4-2 and lasted until the end of the match.

Amorim also praised Cunha for scoring the first goals at Man Utd and Mbeumo who again showed her sharpness. In the match against Liverpool, Mbeumo also scored a quick goal as well as opened Man Utd's victory.

"He (Cunha) feels more confident when the game is more difficult. I also like how he survives. When he has the ball, I am sure of his abilities. He also feels restless if he doesn't score goals," said Amorim.

"In contrast, Mbeumo is already working like a machine. He is very good at transition. Connectivity with Amad (DIALlo) is also very good," he said again.
