Manchester United Hunts For Veterans Barcelona Striker

JAKARTA - Manchester United is monitoring veteran Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski. When his contract at Barca is complete, Man Utd is interested in bringing Lewandowski and giving him the opportunity to play in the English Premier League.

Lewandowski is still an enigma when his contract expires next year. The Polish national team striker does not want to retire even though he is 37 years old.

Barca will not award Lewandowski a new contract. But that doesn't mean the former Bayern Munich striker will hang up his boots or choose to play in Europe's second-tier league. Evidently, Lewandowski has rejected the offer to play in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

Lewandowski still wants to play in Europe's top league, at least for the next few years. With his condition still fit and sharpness not decreasing, Lewandowski can still play at the highest level.

According to SPORT, Man Utd is ready to make attractive offers to Lewandowski if he wants to try out the English Premier League. However, Man Utd is not alone in targeting Lewandowski. His agent, Pini Zahavi, has received offers from various clubs who want to recruit the former Borussia Dortmund striker.
