Persib Jamu Selangor In The Asian Champions League 2: Continue Victory

Persib wants to continue the winning trend when they host Selangor in the Asian 2 Champions League (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - The third match of the AFC Champions League Two (Liga Champions Asia 2) group phase is scheduled to roll back. Indonesia's representative, Persib Bandung, is scheduled to host Selangor.

Persib Bandung will host Selangor in the third match of Group G at the Gelora Bandung Stadium, Lautan Api on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 19.15 WIB.

Ahead of this match, Bojan Hodak's squad was in high motivation because they had not lost at all when they played in the Asian Champions League 2.

From the previous two matches, Persib Bandung managed to get four points from holding Lion City Sailors (1-1) and beating Bangkok United (2-0).

However, Maung Bandung coach, Bojan Hodak, wants his troops to continue their winning trend in the Champions League 2.

He also again emphasized to his players to show their best abilities when hosting Selangor FC.

"In every game, we always hope to show a better game. This has happened last season, we performed better than the previous season," said Bojan Hodak.

The victory against Selangor can make Persib Bandung increase their chances of qualifying for the knockout phase, improving their achievements compared to the previous season.

Bojan Hodak further said that his players must focus considering that Selangor has excellent attack quality.

In the Asian Champions League 2, the team nicknamed the Red Giants have scored four goals. Meanwhile in the Malaysian Super League, Faisal Halim and his friends scored 12 goals from six matches and 15 goals from three matches in the Malaysian FA Cup.

"Selangor FC has very good players. They play very well when they attack and have scored a lot of goals," said the coach.
