2025/2026 Super League Results: Persita Wins 4-0 Over PSIM Yogyakarta

Persita destroyed PSIM Yogyakarta to paste Borneo at the top of the 2025/2026 Super League standings (Instagram/@persita.official).

JAKARTA - Persita Tangerang managed to record a landslide victory in the ninth week of the 2025/2026 Super League. Entertaining PSIM Yogyakarta, the Cisadane Warriors won 4-0 at home.

In the match which took place at the Indomilk Arena, Friday, October 17, 2025, afternoon WIB, Persita played aggressively from the early minutes. Through Rayco Rodriguez, the opening score was created in the 24th minute which brought the hosts 1-0 up.

Two minutes later, Persita had doubled their lead through Hokky Caraka's header which continued Rayco's pass. However, the goal was disallowed by VAR because Rayco had already been trapped offside first.

Towards the final five minutes of the first half, PSIM had time to rise up their attacks that could not endanger the home goal. The 1-0 score lasted until halftime.

Continuing to the second half, PSIM still has difficulty developing the game. The center line of Persita, who played solidly along with the fort behind, made PSIM unable to create a clean opportunity.

Rayco again listed his name on the scoreboard in the 70th minute to make the score 2-0 for Persita after beating two PSIM players.

Starting with the goalkeeper's fault in passing, the ball fell at Rayco's feet which immediately catapulted it into the net.

The PSIM back line made another mistake which made Persita score the fourth goal in the 93rd minute. Yusaku Yamadera's backpass made Pablo Ganet snatch the ball and carry it to the penalty box.

With a landslide victory, Persita is firmly in second place in the standings with 16 points from eight matches, four points ahead of PSIM in second place.
