A total of 48 countries attended and participated in the prestigious international billiards event titled PBS World Championship Series which took place in Bali this week.

The tournament will be held in Bali on 7-13 October 2025. This event includes three official World Championships under the auspices of the WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association).

The three championships are WPA Men's World 8-Ball Championship, WPA Women's World 10-Ball Championship, and WPA Men's World 10-Ball Doubles Championship, which became the debut at the world level.

Chairman of the Indonesian Billiards Sports Association (POBSI), Hary Tanoesoedibjo, stated that his party strongly supports the holding of this important tournament.

The Men's Doubles World Championship tournament will be in the spotlight because for the first time it was officially recognized by the World Pool-Billiard Association.

The CEO of the Pro Billiard Center (PBC), Kevin Sanjaya, who directly signed the partnership said that the party is happy to be able to build a strong partnership to support the billiards ecosystem.

"Through this world championship, we want to strengthen the billiard ecosystem in Indonesia, bring world-class billiards to fans, and pave the way for young talents to develop," he said.
