Welcoming The 2025 MotoGP Agenda, MGPA Guarantees The Mandalika Circuit Is Dust-Free And Ready To Use

MGPA continues to polish the Mandalika Circuit to prepare for the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP title (doc. MGPA).

JAKARTA - Cleaning the Mandalika Circuit track using a road sweeper vehicle is carried out by the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA). This is to ensure the readiness of the venue ahead of the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP on 3-5 October.

The road sweeper vehicle is a special vehicle with modern sweeping and suction technology. According to the Managing Director of MGPA, Priandhi Satria, the use of this sweeper road plays a vital role in maintaining the standard cleanliness of the race track.

"Today we have the arrival of a road sweeper car loaned by the National Road Management Center (BPJN) under the Ministry of PUPR, especially from the PJN Working Unit Region 1 NTB."

"This vehicle is very helpful in efforts to clean the Mandalika track thoroughly," said Priandhi, quoted from the release of the MGPA on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Priandhi guarantees that the system will make the Mandalika Circuit track completely clean when used by MotoGP riders later.

"So, this system not only sweeps, but also encourages sand to be collected in the sewer so that the track is completely clean," said Priandhi.

For the track cleaning process, Priandi explained that it was done in a structured manner by following the Mandalika Circuit track elevation contour.

"This activity will last for more than a week, until around Monday or Tuesday before MotoGP starts."

"That way, when drivers carry out track inspections on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the track is in optimal condition," said Priandhi.

According to Priandhi, the use of the sweeper road is part of standard procedures to ensure that the track is not only visible to the eye, but also free from dust attached to asphalt pores.

"We want drivers to see firsthand that this circuit is clean, safe, and suitable for racing. God willing, when they track the walk, the condition of the Mandalika Circuit track will be very good," he said.

With intensive cleaning measures using this road sweeper technology, MGPA is optimistic that the Mandalika Circuit will be ready to welcome world racers. Priandhi Satria also invited the public to attend directly to witness this grand event.
