Nyetel In The Indonesian National Team, Marc Klok Can't Wait To Play With Haye And Eliano At Persib

JAKARTA - Marc Klok admitted that he could not wait to play with Thom Haye and Eliano Reijnders at Persib Bandung. This statement was made after the three of them appeared compact in the Indonesian national team.

The Indonesian national team underwent a FIFA Matchday match against China Taipei at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya. In the match on Friday, September 5 that night, the Garuda Squad's appearance was so slick with a 6-0 victory.

After the match, Marc Klok admitted that the team's performance was indeed satisfying. He also mentioned that he was so enthusiastic about playing with Thom Haye and Eliano Reijnders who were his teammates at Persib Bandung.

"I can't wait to play with him (Thom Haye) in Persib and of course with Eliano (Reijnders) too," Klok said after the match, quoted from Antara, Sunday, September 7.

In fact, it was not only three, but there were four Persib players who defended Indonesia when they met China Taipei. At first, Klok, Eliano, and Beckham Putra played together because they were included in the first 11 players.

Then the coach, Patrick Kluivert, again fielded Persib's players after Thom Haye entered in the 65th minute to replace Nathan Tjoe-A-On.

The four Persib players were on the field for about five minutes because Beckham was replaced by the debutant of Miliano Jonathans in the 70th minute, followed by Eliano who was replaced by Stefano Lilipaly in the 80th minute.

Of the four Persib players who performed, three of them contributed to the goals of the Indonesian national team. One goal each from Klok and Eliano, then Beckham made one assist for Jordi Amat's goal.

"Thom, and don't forget Eliano, he played amazing today. As for the style of play, I don't think I'm the same as Thom. We might complement each other on the pitch," said Marc Klok.
