Raphinha Murka, Tuding Disneyland Paris Rasis To His Son

JAKATA - Raphinha vented his anger at Disneyland Paris. The Barcelona winger accused one of the theme park's mascots of being racist towards his son, Gael.

Through uploads on social media, the Brazilian wrote a strong condemnation. He considered the treatment his son received at all inappropriate, especially in a place that should bring happiness to children.

Your employees are disgusting. Children should be made happy, not ignored. I call it baiked', nothing more. You are disgusting," Raphinha wrote in her post.

This incident first surfaced through video footage circulating. In the video, Gael is seen trying to approach Disneyland's mascot to ask for a hug. However, his request was ignored.

The mosque was actually seen hugging another child who happened to be white. Several times I tried to return to asking for attention, even being pushed by a man to get closer, but still ignored. The mosque then just walked away, leaving Raphinha's son.

I can understand the fatigue of those who work in costumes like that. But why do every white kid get a hug, while my son doesn't? I hate you, Disneyland. He just wanted a hug, and you guys refused. Employees are ugly," continued Raphinha.

The criticism immediately caught the public's attention. Many highlight the mascot attitude of Disneyland, although until now the theme park has not provided an official clarification.

Raphinha was not in Paris at the time of the incident. He was playing for the Brazilian national team in the continuation of the Conmebol Zone 2026 World Cup Qualification. Recently, he helped Selecao win 2-0 over Chile.

Brazil still has one game left to face Bolivia on September 10. Raphinha is most likely back trusted to perform, before returning to Europe to strengthen Barcelona in domestic competitions.
