In the latest FIFA rankings, China Taipei is ranked 172nd. They have just dropped six places in their latest release.

While the Indonesian national team is far above it, to be precise the 118th rank, has just moved up five places in the latest FIFA release.

In the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification match, China Taipei has been eliminated since the Second Round. At that time they were caretakers of Group A consisting of Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Malaysia.
